[Remote] Resource Management Professional (contract)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. KPMG US is a professional services firm seeking a contractor to provide resource management services. The role involves developing staffing strategies, monitoring utilization, and collaborating with leadership and HR to optimize resource allocation.


Responsibilities

  • Deliver "best solution" staffing strategies that help maximize utilization and minimize unassigned time with Engagement Partners and Leads
  • Work directly with leadership to create staffing solutions that follow firm guidelines, and best develop employee career path
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting insights covering forecasted utilization, actual utilization, and projected full time employees; discuss with leadership about directional focus of resources
  • Monitor staff and manager progress toward chargeability goals, work with performance leaders to identify issues, and lead team meetings regarding staffing plans
  • Work with Human Resources and Recruiting to best determine resource and hiring needs, timing, onboarding plans, and help coordinate with teams on hiring strategies
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm’s respectful and courteous work environment

Skills

  • Minimum of five years of resource management, Finance/Accounting, or client service delivery experience with a professional services environment preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel (i.e. pivot tables), and Outlook
  • All applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
