If you live in Phoenix, AZ, the salary range will be $64,860 - $72,220 per year. If you live in Pompano Beach, FL the salary range for this position is $68,385 - $76,145 per year. If you live in Manassas, VA; City of Industry, CA; or Linden, NJ; the salary range will be $70,500 - $78,500 per year. The base salary offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We are support partners and leaders on the Wayfair Global Supply Chain Transportation and Delivery Enablement Team.  We support our large parcel delivery locations, providing direct feedback & development to our Transportation & Delivery teams through onsite audits and training. We bring extensive process knowledge to our stakeholders and aid in the development of network-wide resources through process, audit, and training  initiatives and building audits to optimize performance and enhance employee engagement. We are culture enthusiasts throughout our entire Supply Chain network.  


We are looking for a proven leader to influence cross-functional teams responsible for development, standard work, and championing the Wayfair culture in our Middle Mile and Home Delivery Operations. The candidate must be a collaborative problem solver, strategic planner, and one who can manage & supervise high performing teams in a fast-paced, rapidly challenging, and fluid environment. 


Schedule:   



  • Hours for this position are five 8-hour shifts per week.

  • Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM, with flex to overnight shifts as needed

  • At times, will need to flex schedule days/times to support operational needs - including working overnight full night shifts, or working an alternate day (weekends).

  • Travel 75%  required, sometimes with short notice.

What You'll Do



  • Perform regular audits of HDO Warehouses locations across the country as assigned, focusing on 5S standards and process compliance. 

  • Present audit findings with network leadership and provide feedback based on your onsite observations.

  • Follow up on previous audits to ensure that action plans have been successfully implemented.

  • Coordinate, lead, and execute all training functions HDO locations, including new hire orientation, job function training, new process & tech launches, and continuous development.

  • Lead various training sessions as needed, including but not limited to: New Hire Fundamentals, Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) training, Quality & Process (Current & New SOP) Training.

  • Use operational expertise to flex to support site operations during peak volume periods, and when needed.  Supervise the functions and working of warehouse workers while adhering to the compliance of all legal and safety procedures.

  • Work effectively with other managers within functional team and support new team members.

  • Support T&D Enablement, Safety, and Operations by championing training programs, processes, and initiatives; provide upward feedback and share observations with business owners to improve alignment, compliance, quality, and engagement.


What You’ll Need



  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Leadership, Change Management OR 4 year degree in relevant field, required

  • Experience in Operations or Supply Chain preferred

  • Raymond and/or Crown forklift/powered industrial vehicle certifications preferred.  Willingness to be trained on multiple vehicle types required.

  • Leadership skills and the ability to make decisions with little or no guidance based on policies or best practices.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication to effectively communicate with all stakeholder levels.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • A seek-to-understand mindset and teamwork strategies that will allow you to connect with and influence diverse groups of people, including your training audience and stakeholder network.
