Role and Responsibilities As a Warehouse Operative at Amazon, you will play an important role in making sure orders are processed correctly and shipped promptly. This hands-on position involves working in an energetic, fast-moving environment where teamwork and technology drive success. Core responsibilities include: • Receiving and Processing: Unload, inspect, and organize incoming shipments and inventory. • Picking and Packing: Use handheld scanners to select orders and securely pack items for delivery. • Shipping: Label, stage, and prepare packages for timely shipment. • Workplace Maintenance: Keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe at all times. • Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, carts, or forklifts (with certification) and perform required safety inspections. • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals. • Safety and Compliance: Follow Amazon safety standards, OSHA regulations, and required PPE guidelines.
