Description Warehouse Team MemberResponsibilities:The Warehouse Team member is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing material, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions, providing exceptional customer service, interacting with internal and external customers, vendors, and contractors; and continuously demonstrating behaviors and actions. They are also responsible for the following duties:General Warehouse: Receiving and stocking incoming inventory company trucks, as well as direct shipments from manufacturers. Properly and efficiently preparing outgoing shipments as needed. Properly restocks products in the warehouse on a daily basis and as needed. Performing/assisting cycle counts as needed/directed by manager. Assisting in locating and moving miscellaneous inventory. Maintaining the warehouse in a clean and orderly manner; sweeping the warehouse floor and cleaning debris as needed. Must be able to safely operate all tools and equipment; including but not limited to: forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck. Customer Service Assisting customers with loading merchandise into their vehicles as needed. Providing the highest level of customer service to both internal and external customers. Safely operating appropriate equipment including a forklift, hand truck, and pallet jack. Maintaining valid forklift certification. Following all safety standards and requirements within the warehouse according to company policy and OSHA. Notifying supervisor of any and all safety concerns; incidents and/or accidentsExperience and Knowledge: Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience. Knowledge of all applicable DOT and Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Two (2) years of general warehouse experience. Ability to develop relationships with customers and provide a high level of customer service Must be able to accurately attend to details and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be able to work with minimum amount of supervision under stressful conditions.Skills and Physical Demands: The ability to walk, bend, reach, push, stoop, squat, and climb, as necessary. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. Must be able to operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner. Warehouse is not conditioned space and can be warm or cool depending on the season.
