<strong>Job Summary: </strong> The Warehouse Clerk I ensures daily functions and procedures of the warehouse are followed. Specific roles may include receiving, order pulling, material handling, or shipping functions.<br><br><strong>Essential Job Functions<br><br></strong><ul><li>Moving and storing items of various sizes and weights either manually or with powered and unpowered equipment.</li><li>Performing digital and paper inventory transactions for transfers, purchase orders, manufacturing orders, or customer orders.</li><li>Using computers or physical documents to gather information or verify data.</li><li>Problem solving within groups or alone.</li><li>Working with various teams on safety, process improvement, or other projects.</li><li>Cross training into other roles within the warehouse group.</li><li>Other duties as required.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>1-3 months experience in related field preferred</li><li>Forklift and Pallet Jack Certification preferred</li><li>Ability to operate scales, computers, hoists, printers, scissor lifts, hand trucks, wrap machines, forklift, aisle master, hand scanners, WAV and pallet jack</li><li>Must be capable of basic mathematical equations and conversions for weight, measurements, and volume</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously</li><li>Must have proficient computer and technological skills</li><li>Must be proficient with verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Must pass background check and drug screen<br><br></li></ul><strong>Core Competencies<br><br></strong><ul><li>Ensures Accountability – Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments.</li><li>Instills Trust – Gaining the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.</li><li>Collaborates – Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.</li><li>Demonstrates Self Awareness - Using a combination of feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into personal strengths and weaknesses.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:</strong> No<br><br><strong>Education<br><br></strong><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent required<br><br></li></ul><strong>Professional License<br><br></strong><ul><li>Preferred Forklift and Pallet Jack<br><br></li></ul><strong>Work Environment<br><br></strong><ul><li>Warehouse - PPE required in specific areas</li><li>Potential proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical currents, oils and chemicals</li><li>Potential exposure to fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, or poor ventilation</li><li>Extreme temperatures for more than an hour possible</li><li>Consistently elevated noise levels in work area<br><br></li></ul><strong>Physical Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>Continuous walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending</li><li>Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 75 lbs.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Travel:</strong> No<br><br><strong>Safety Sensitive Position<br><br></strong><ul><li>Yes</li><ul><li>This position performs tasks or duties that could affect the health or safety of Kimray employees or other individuals and has been designated as Safety Sensitive.</li></ul></ul>
