About the position

The Systems Analyst position at SAI Technologies, LLC is a contract role based in Savannah, GA, focused on providing onsite desktop support for customers within assigned locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting end-user workstation and peripheral problems, effectively diagnosing and resolving issues both remotely and in person. This role requires a strong commitment to ensuring that end-user applications and equipment function as expected and comply with all relevant policies, procedures, and rules. In addition to troubleshooting, the Systems Analyst will be tasked with installing and supporting network devices that provide critical business services. The role also involves performing end-user data backup and recovery, which requires meticulous attention to detail. The analyst will process surplus equipment according to established procedures, ensuring proper sanitization of electronic equipment, including disk wiping to Department of Defense (DoD) standards. The position requires the opening, documenting, and tracking of problem tickets, escalating issues to the appropriate workgroups when necessary. Coordination with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems related to desktop hardware and software is also a key responsibility. Furthermore, the analyst will provide special project support, which includes the setup, breakdown, and relocation of computer equipment and peripherals. This role is essential for maintaining the operational efficiency of IT services within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite desktop support for customers located within assigned locations.
• Troubleshoot end user workstation and peripheral problems and effectively diagnose and resolve issues remotely and in person.
• Ensure that end user applications and equipment continue to work as expected and are in compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and rules.
• Install & support network devices providing business critical service.
• Perform end user data back-up and recovery ensuring attention to detail.
• Process surplus equipment according to established procedures, proper sanitization of electronic equipment up to and including disk wiping to DoD standards.
• Open/document/track problem tickets escalating to appropriate workgroups when required.
• Coordinate with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop hardware and software.
• Provide special project support including setup and breakdown and relocation of computer equipment and peripherals.

Requirements

• A+ Certification or Network+ Certification is required.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 4 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA is required.
