Pharmacy Technician Supervisor – Day

In this role, as Pharmacy Technician Supervisor you will be responsible for the immediate and direct supervision of all the activities of pharmacy technicians, interns, and ancillary staff. You will provide direction to pharmacy personnel in managing their respective duties, and offer guidance in handling special operations and administrative matters. You will manage staff, and participate in employee scheduling, performance reviews, recommendations, and counseling. Additionally, you will monitor daily activities of all sections of the pharmacy workflows and take appropriate action(s) to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Pharmacy Technician Supervisor –

This position will be Full-Time covering weekends Saturday-Monday.

Preferred Criteria:

  • Prior hospital experience
  • Experience in a supervisory position and/or scope in work history.

Required Criteria:

  • HS Diploma or GED from an accredited school
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) required
  • New York State Pharmacy Technician License
  • Two (2) years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of computer applications

Preferred Criteria:

  • Prior hospital experience
  • Experience in a supervisory position and/or scope in work history.

$70,000-$92,000/Annual
