**Senior Internal Auditor Opportunity at Amazon Web Services**

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join our Amazon Web Services (AWS) audit team. This high-visibility role offers the chance to make significant improvements throughout our Cloud Computing business.

We are committed to performing independent and objective assessments of business activities and related controls with the goal of improving operations, compliance, risk management, and system of internal controls.

This position may require up to 20% travel, including international trips.

Key Responsibilities:

You will lead audits across AWS, conducting end-to-end financial, operational, and compliance audits for all areas supporting the AWS business.
You will leverage large data sets to support your audits and provide valuable insights to the business as a result of each project.
You will provide consultative support to business partners to identify opportunities for control improvements, mitigating risk and improving compliance and operational performance.
You will lead people, direct meetings, and champion positive change, working independently and remaining flexible in a fast-paced environment.
You will dive deep into details to develop meaningful findings and drive solutions.
You must understand complex business processes and identify full range of risks related to processes, compliance, organizations, and technology.
You must have good analytical skills, solid business judgment, strong controllership focus, and capability to drive right results with focused and pragmatic approach.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
4+ years of experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or similar field.
Experience handling confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in program requirements definition and data/metrics leveraging to drive improvements.
Professional auditing qualification or similar risk/compliance credentials.
Experience with SQL and Excel.
