Your Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a Sr. Art Director to join our brand/creative team and work side-by-side with hard-working pet lovers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving creative direction, developing multi-channel campaigns, and ensuring consistent storytelling across all assets. This role requires strong conceptual thinking, leadership, and the ability to implement high-quality visual work while maintaining brand consistency and evolving creative strategies.

What You’ll Do:

Develop and run multi-channel creative campaigns in partnership with cross-functional teams, ensuring strategic alignment with marketing goals.
Lead and drive the conceptual design vision and coordinate the development and implementation of compelling, brand-forward creative assets, spanning from digital static/print designs to dynamic motion and video content.
Ensure brand consistency across all channels while evolving visual storytelling to meet growing business needs.
Provide creative direction for photography and video shoots, ensuring visually engaging content that aligns with Chewy’s brand identity.
Partner with collaborators, including Creative Directors, marketing teams, and leadership, to develop innovative creative strategies.
Guide a team of designers and collaborate with writers, content strategists, and production teams to implement high-quality work efficiently.
Analyze performance data and campaign insights to optimize creative strategies and influence future design decisions.

What You’ll Need:

5+ years of experience crafting for an agency or brand, with a strong portfolio showcasing multi-channel creative campaigns.
Expertise in art direction, branding, visual storytelling, and digital content creation across various platforms.
Strong typography, layout, and design skills, with a deep understanding of brand identity and marketing strategy.
Ability to problem-solve creatively, troubleshoot design challenges, and provide strategic solutions.
Experience leading photo and video production, with an eye for composition, lighting, and storytelling.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other industry-standard design tools.
Excellent time management and organization skills, with the ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong communication and leadership skills to mentor designers and collaborate across departments.
Ability to internalize Chewy’s brand voice and creative guidelines while strategically pushing the creative envelope.
