In this work-from-home position, you will be responsible for assessing patient concerns over the phone, providing appropriate advice, and directing them to the necessary level of care. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

Assess patients' health concerns through telephone consultations.
Provide professional, empathetic, and accurate guidance based on clinical protocols.
Educate patients about their symptoms, self-care, and when to seek further medical attention.
Record detailed notes of patient interactions in the electronic medical record system.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure patients receive the care they need.
Stay current on healthcare guidelines and telephone triage protocols to ensure high standards of care.

Requirements:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical or triage setting.
Ability to work independently and make critical decisions.
Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
Comfortable with technology and electronic health record systems.
Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple calls.
Must have a quiet, private workspace and reliable internet access for remote work.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
