About the position

The Quantitative and Statistical Analyst II at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta plays a crucial role in the development of analytics and reports that measure and manage credit and collateral risk within the Bank's portfolio. Additionally, the analyst will engage in analytical model building and recalibration as necessary, while identifying, monitoring, and reporting other relevant risks associated with the portfolio. This position requires a strong understanding of analytics used in credit risk measurement and management, as well as familiarity with mortgage markets and products, although the latter is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the analyst will need to explain complex modeling and implementation decisions to various stakeholders.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
Strong knowledge and experience with reporting packages (Power BI, Tableau), databases (SQL, Oracle), or programming (Python, R, Visual Basic for Applications, SAS).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
