As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be a senior member on the team, expected to contribute to the technical leadership and center of excellence within the Workplace Investing's (WI) Stock Plan Services group.

Education & Experience

A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software engineering or related field
10+ years of hands-on experience with mainframe and distributed platforms.
At least 3 years of technical leadership experience.
Provide support in a distributed environment, Cloud (Azure), Java, Oracle, K8S, Datadog/Splunk, ETL.
Provide support in a mainframe environment, using COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, MQ-Series, SQL, and VSAM files.
Prior experience providing technical and functional guidance/leadership to the team is a must for this role.
Experience in designing and building new solutions and enhancing existing systems.
Experience working in a highly collaborative environment would be a big plus.
Having business knowledge of Stock Plan Services (SPS) is preferred.
Ability to quickly learn new concepts and technologies to support day to day operations.
Demonstrate ability to form trusted working relationships with business unit stakeholders through collaboration and enhanced effective communications
Analytical & detail orientated thought process with the ability to take methodical approach to activities such as problem resolution, designing and solutioning.
Demonstrated ability to articulate and explain complex problems or solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications or subsystems.
