About the Role

The Quality Services (QS) organization provides testing support for Devices, Retail, and AWS products. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for managing a team of quality service associates to ensure timely delivery of test execution for a set of components or products.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a team of approximately 10+ members, allocating tasks and ensuring test execution delivery based on schedules or Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Collaborate with stakeholders from the Quality Assurance teams to plan and coordinate task delivery, providing clear status reports and documentation.
Identify and resolve challenges faced by the team, requiring collaboration with multiple teams such as peer teams, HR, IT, and administration.
Raise and handle escalations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to ensure prompt resolution.
Analyze project metrics related to quality and team effectiveness, making recommendations for process improvements and influencing stakeholders to implement changes.
Regularly communicate with team members through one-on-one meetings, providing performance feedback and guiding their career progression.

A Day in the Life

Your day will be filled with managing your team, allocating tasks, and coordinating test execution delivery. You will engage with stakeholders to seek inputs on task planning and delivery schedules, communicating clear status reports and documentation. You will also identify and resolve challenges faced by your team, collaborate with other departments, and analyze project metrics to drive improvement.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in team management, preferably in an operations, project, or program management role.
Knowledge of Windows desktop environment and proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
Ability to use data to inform business decisions and drive process improvements.
Experience serving as a point of contact for stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Bonus Requirements

Background in quality assurance/testing, mobile industry, or Internet of Things (IoT)
Experience managing project delivery and leading front-line managers
