About the position

The Reliability Maintenance Planner/Scheduler plays a crucial role in the Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team at Amazon, focusing on maximizing the uptime of material handling equipment. This position involves developing maintenance plans and schedules based on preventive maintenance activities, predictive maintenance data, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Responsibilities

Screen work orders to identify scope and analyze required planning levels for maintenance activities.
Perform equipment quality audits to document job requirements and identify safety hazards.
Estimate required work hours and plan parts and materials for reliability improvement projects.
Ensure all work orders are derived from the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system and accurately closed out.
Compile equipment information into job packages for technicians, clearly communicating critical steps in the work process.
Analyze equipment downtime data and manage warranty processes to drive OEM uptime and lower costs.
Drive a proactive maintenance program ensuring 85% of planned work is proactive.
Partner with local leadership to coordinate maintenance activities and enhance future work processes.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
1+ years of experience using a computer maintenance management system (CMMS) for planning and scheduling maintenance activities.
5+ years of experience as a maintenance planner/scheduler in an industrial maintenance complex or related field.
Hands-on experience in material handling systems (MHS) installation, operation, and maintenance.
Subject matter expert (SME) level knowledge of CMMS use, preferably EAM.
Extensive technical knowledge of diverse MHS, industrial mechanical and electrical systems, and automation.

Nice-to-haves

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP).
Experience with Infor EAM ASE software.
Proficient with Microsoft Projects software.
