Responsibilities:

  • Organizing the process of receiving and selecting incoming inventory to effectively fulfill outlet orders.
  • Relocation of goods in the warehouse is executed according to product handling guidelines.
  • Plans and arranges products in a logical order suitable for shipment, while also unloading incoming freight from trucks or back-hauls.
  • Carries out cleaning duties to achieve optimal warehouse functioning and productivity by reducing unnecessary interruptions and delays due to safety and cleanliness issues.
  • Operates in-taking inventory counts of warehouses, according to established norms.
  • This individual understands the importance of communicating and exchanging information in order to cooperate and interact with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership effectively.
  • Proposes innovations to the warehouse management process for better organization.
  • Evaluates commodities, consults with the warehouse supervisors on the value of items, security threats, and sanitation concerns.
