Overview

Sigma Continental is seeking a reliable and dedicated FedEx Delivery Driver to join our team. The position involves reporting to and dispatching from our Western Pennsylvania and Cleveland market terminals each day.

To qualify, you must:

  • Be an active FedEx delivery driver
  • Have a positive reference from a current or former FedEx Ground contractor
  • Not be a current or former employee of Sigma Continental

We are looking for a professional driver who can quickly learn an in-town route with pickups, operate safely and efficiently, and consistently maintain 99.5% LIB service and PO time-commit compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a P1000 step van for package delivery and pickups
  • Navigate assigned routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety standards
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and represent FedEx Ground and Sigma Continental professionally
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and records as required
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
  • Handle lifting and movement of packages up to 150 lbs, using proper techniques and equipment

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a FedEx delivery driver with a positive contractor reference
  • Must be currently active within the FedEx system
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Licensed to operate vehicles between 16,000 lbs and 23,000 lbs GVWR
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and follow directions accurately
  • Willingness to adapt to changing routes or schedules as operational needs require
