Location: We are hiring at multiple facilities across UCHealth in Colorado Springs!

Department: Lab Support Services

FTE: Options available for Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN!

Pay: Competitive pay ranging from $18.54 - $24.10 per hour, based on your relevant experience.

Role Summary: You will collect and process blood specimens for laboratory testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood specimens using techniques suitable for patients of all ages.
  • Ensure accurate labeling, processing, and delivery of specimens for testing.
  • Maintain necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Be adaptable in performing additional tasks as required, including clerical work and laboratory processing duties.
  • Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment while working autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Completed an accredited phlebotomy program.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, with a valid card before start date.
