Customer Support Specialist ID-12405

CodeCombat is looking for a Customer Support Specialist to act as a main point of contact for our users. Our Support Specialists interact with a wide variety of customers including but not limited to at-home users, teachers in a classroom setting, and individuals seeking Online Classes in order to learn how to code. If you have experience supporting a busy org in a customer-facing role, we want to hear from you!


This is a fully remote, part-time contractor role. We encourage applicants from all backgrounds to apply regardless of direct experience as a Customer Support Specialist.

What You'll Do

  • Quickly triage, address, and respond to user inquiries via email and live chat with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Help users debug in-game code in Python, JavaScript, and Lua
  • Synthesize customer feedback and trends to identify improvements for user interfaces, anticipating potential conflicts of proposed product design changes

  • Identify and troubleshoot issues, escalating potentially serious issues to the product team when necessary
  • Assist students and guardians with CodeCombat Online Classes enrollment
  • Collaborate with the wider team (Operations, Product) to identify and solve customer pain points
