Responsibilities

  • Identify, analyze, prioritize, report, and create plans to mitigate cloud security risks using cloud security tools.
  • Deploy and manage WAF rules, monitor traffic, and contribute to security incident response.
  • Design and implement remote access solutions for cloud administration using Zscaler ZPA and AWS Client VPN.
  • Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and enforce tagging policies.
  • Develop and monitor IAM roles and policies using least privilege principles, managing them via Terraform and GitLab.
  • Automate server creation and address EC2 and EBS issues to ensure hybrid cloud success.
  • Evaluate cloud services for security and viability to meet customer outcomes and implement standards for new services.
  • Coordinate with software engineers and architects to design and create cloud application solutions.
  • Operate the finops program to ensure cost efficiency and provide cost analysis and reporting to Product Managers.

Requirements

  • Experience managing cloud security risks.
  • Experience managing and creating AWS IAM policies.
  • Experience deploying and managing cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with AWS network architecture and security configurations.
  • Experience in leading and organizing projects with strong communication and organizational abilities.
