Job Summary:

  • Supports Multiple clinical and ancillary Meditech Modules in regards to problem resolution and dictionary maintenance
  • Assists computer users with computer application specific problems.
  • Implements, coordinates, and maintains various programs with clinical services including physicians, nursing, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Serves as the clinical project lead to bring new programs on for the improvement of clinical care
  • Participates in the development, testing, and implementation of the application functions.
  • Assists in LIVE conversion plans for new and upgraded systems.
  • Provides ongoing support for end users.
  • Assists in the development of user policies and procedures related to clinical practices and clinical information systems.
  • Participates in the analysis of clinical of clinical environments and the evaluation of applicable evolving technologies.
  • Develops and revises documentation for end users (physician, nursing, and multidisciplinary teams) based on approved changes.
  • Provides training for superusers and other end users as needed based on system updates or new documentation requirements.
  • Assists with creating electronic orders and order sets based on physician and multidisciplinary requests.
  • Attends Clinical Director Meetings to improve communication between clinical directors and information systems.
  • Participates in the Information Department On Call Schedule.


Skill/Education Requirements:

  • Current RN License Required
  • BSN preferred
  • 3 or more years of experience in a clinical setting
  • Meditech Magic experience preferred
  • Knowledge of clinical applications
