Civil Works, Inc. (CWI) is pleased to share we have a new opportunity for a Civil/Site Engineer to join our firm in one of the following locations of your choice:

Fort Lauderdale, FL
Miami, FL or
Nashville, TN

In the role of Civil/Site Engineer, CWI will count on you to:

Develop site plans for commercial projects, such as multi-family, retail, office, etc.
Serve as technical lead for Land/Site development projects involving local municipalities and commercial development.
Assist in development of project scope of services and price proposals.
Lead modeling and relevant design calculations.
Manage the permitting process through various agencies.
Perform field data collection and site visits.
Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements:

B.S. Civil Engineering
P.E. licensure in both FL and TN is required.
10+ years of increasingly responsible land development and site design experience
Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil3D
Excellent oral and written communication skills
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our Civil Works Team

Location: This is a full-time, in-office position that can be located in one of the following cities of your choice: Fort Lauderdale, FL, Miami, FL or Nashville, TN

Travel: Travel is primarily local during the business day. Out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be required according to the needs of the business.

Compensation & Benefits: We offer a comprehensive and competitive compensation and benefits package to meet your personal needs. Salary is commensurate with experience. Benefits for regular full-time employees include:

80 hours of accrued vacation time

Private sector client projects have included traffic studies and development plans for hotels, shopping centers, commercial and residential complexes. Our current primary focus is FDOT 3R Milling and Resurfacing projects.
