What you need to become a Preply tutor:

  • Proficiency in English
  • Teaching qualifications: 
    • University degree
    • English teaching certificate (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, etc.)
    • Equivalent qualification in teaching - Including Preply’s Online Language Teaching Certificate, which you can take for free once you sign up. 
  • Experience teaching one-to-one classes (preferably online)
  • Experience using or creating materials and resources 
  • High-speed internet connection
  • Cheerful, patient, and responsible attitude towards teaching
