Amazon Cognito helps customers secure the most critical user data including credentials of the users of their applications. We provide easy-to-use authentication, authorization, and user management for web and mobile apps, either directly with a username and password, or through a third-party identity provider such as Facebook, Amazon, or Google.

Key Job Responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand their requirements, gather feedback, and ensure the product meets their needs.
Conceptualize a clear product vision and strategy for Amazon Cognito that aligns with the overall business goals.
Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing features based on customer needs, customer identity and access management product space trends, and business impact.
Work closely with engineering, UX, marketing, and sales teams to deliver high-quality features on time.
Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust the product strategy accordingly.
Define and track key metrics to measure the success of the product and inform future decisions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of technical product management with internet business experience
Experience in taking a product from conception & definition phase through engineering design and taking it to market
Experience working with customers, technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
Experience with modern software development, web development frameworks, APIs
Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)
Experience in defining customer research, defining technical solutions that can solve customer challenges at scale, product pricing/monetization strategy, go-to-market (GTM) strategy.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
Experience working within teams delivering software products and features using agile methodologies
MBA
5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $137,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $236,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
