Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will interact with clients during deliveries. The Delivery Driver will also be expected to handle loading and unloading of products, maintain the delivery vehicle, and adhere to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle for deliveries.
  • Load and unload products efficiently, ensuring items are secured during transport.
  • Navigate assigned routes while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
  • Assist in warehouse tasks as needed, including inventory management and organization.
  • Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for heavy lifting and moving tasks.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Experience in warehouse operations is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is desirable.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
  • Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks (up to 50 pounds).
  • Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools.
