Job Description

Job Purpose

Ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing exceptional customer service within the Air Export Department.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
  2. Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system.
  3. Track and Trace Air Export Files and reporting. Use Tree View on a daily basis.
  4. Ensure arrival notices are communicated to overseas and customers.
  5. Ensure accurate and timely client and vendors billing.
  6. Interact with our customers in arranging their international shipments, meeting customer service standards.
  7. Contribute to maintaining strong relationships with vendors (airlines, trucking companies, and others).
  8. Meet compliance at all times with internal and external regulations in accordance with government regulations.
  9. Understand department process flow, and look for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
  10. Ensure all customers' standard operating procedures are followed and updated in the DLSOP.
  11. Meet KPI standards in accordance with the Company’s procedures.
  12. Oversee communications, providing timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external).
  13. Escalate problems to Management when necessary.
  14. Meet company standards of 52 hours training per year per employee.
  15. Complete mandatory training when required.
  16. Promote compliance by diligently following all company policies and regulations and performing tasks with outstanding integrity and pride.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum Education: College or University graduation or equivalent qualification.
  2. IATA Certification (preferred).
  3. Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.
  4. Proactive, strong organizational skills.
  5. 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
